Carolyn Gartner, LCSW, FT is the founder of The Center For Integrated Grief. She is a licensed clinical social worker and a Fellow in Thanatology (the study of dying, death and bereavement). She has an advanced certification in grief counseling and a certification in Mindfulness based on MBSR. She utilizes IFS and Jungian Shadow Work in her practice. Prior to this she worked in hospice for 9 years. She wrote a book about her experience available on Audible: The Gritty Side of Grace. She has been interviewed by HuffPost, Parade Magazine, American Tributaries Podcast and in the documentary Paw Prints, about pet loss. She hosts a podcast on YouTube called Thanatology Themes.
